I kinda like the rivalry dynamic in different ways
When A and B train and A tries to impress oblivious B by trying to overachieve, probs hurting themselves in the process making B to come to their aid. A gets hurt, but B noticed them so everything's good except maybe for a broken rib.
When A and B first hate each other because of 3rd party reasons (family matters, taught prejudices etc.), but begin to understand each other and bond on a journey with a lot of angst, pain, suffering and overcoming the obstacle that's separating these two (platonic ships like this are my jam)
"hero vs. villain" rivalry, a villain being more like Dr. Horrible or Megamind rather than Joker/Thanos/etc.
Depressed and mean 20-somethings is more like the other is depressed and cynic and the other is the supportive type who helps them get out of the house, help with cleaning and shopping on those days the other just can't get up from bed and gives tips on sorting daily things out like "how to clean the washing machine". I enjoy platonic ships with this dynamic v good
I don't have any fandom ships except for Overwatch Reinhardt/S76/Ana, I just ship OCs yuv
