This is a thing with foxes that live in a some-what dystopian society. The orange and brown fox is named Fae, and she is our main character. Her sister, Farrah, is the other fox. They have hearts on thier chest that get a color when they find their soulamte. Fae is a lesbian though, and kinda breaks the system. By thier second birthday, the foxes have to find a mate, and if they don't, they are "taken away" (which just means killed secretly). Will Fae find a man in time to not die???
