ok i know what i said about the next post being a raffle prize. but. i had the strong urge to make them small. so make them small i did

i wrote out a bunch of bios for them for their ref sheets, but seeing as those aren't getting done any time soon, i'll put em here for now! so it's a little bit of an intro post if you're new or unfamiliar with my characters :] if any of them are worded wonky or repetitively, that is why i draw instead of write hahahah. in order of faces that you read like a book:

zenithe, aka zee (he/him): Loud, confident, and brash, he's never one to shy away from making his presence known! Tries to be charming, but that can only work so well when half of what he says is complete and utter bullshit. He's very stubborn, and absolutely loathes admitting any faults of his own (or even worse, that he actually cares about you). Has a tendency of overexplaining things, often through "infographics" of dubious origin. Prides himself on his appearance and reputation of being cool.

soleil, aka ess (she/her): Mom friend, preventer of minor crimes, and holder of pretty much the only functioning braincell of the group. Has the appropriate amount of sass and passive-aggressiveness to go with it. While she doesn't realize it, she can be very bossy at times, and doesn't trust others to do things to the standards she deems fit (and those standards are very high). Loves to make fun of her friends lightheartedly.

'pika' (he/him): A mysterious tiny rodent found in the woods with an even more mysterious gem and a nasty scar. Naps in the randomest of places, steals your food, and bites you. Afraid of things he doesn't know about (which is a concerning amount) and doesn't trust easily. Very sassy as an eleven-year-old tends to be, however. Definitely not a normal Pikachu (what is up with his eyes?). Where did he come from...?

iris (she/her): Born to break the rules, baby! Gets into loads of trouble but somehow always gets herself out of it. (Most of the time, anyways.) Confident to the point where it's a problem and has mastered the art of bullshitting her way around things. She's a bit of a flirt as well, whether it's to fluster someone enough to her benefit or just because she finds them hot. Sometimes it's both!

jackson, aka jaks (he/him): No one's NOT heard of the jaw-dropping Jackson Mizumi! Famous champion-to-be of the League and several years in the running for first place. (Maybe he'll finally get it this time...) On TV, his charm is turned up to the max, and it isn't unusual to hear him taunt and tease at his opponents. At home, he tries his best to be a supportive and cool older brother, and if you asked him, he'd say he's acing it! He's also not the most perceptive person around.

cloud (he/him): One adventerous little lad! He's a mastermind at scheming, but an amateur at forseeing the concequences. Quite the worrywart and tends to overthink things, but you'd never know it considering the things he does for enrichment (crime. albeit unknowingly). Has the appropriate amount of snark and rudeness a pre-teen comes with, but he's a good kid on the inside.

alexander, aka xander (he/him): The dedication he has to having every single entrance he makes dramatic is almost admirable! He's not afraid to get things going his way by force, and will often convince others to do most of the heavy-lifting for him. His cocky and confident demeanor disappears in an instant if he's caught off guard, however, with his smooth-talk switching to awkward laughter and stutters. Total theatre kid. And nerd.

charlie? (he/they): Has known nothing but mischief. It's always a suprise when it comes to Charlie! Appears in the weirdest places, accomplishes feats that appear physically impossible, their eyes glow ominously occasionally... it's safe to say that their vibes are definitely off. He's actually pretty polite if you manage to get talking with him, but in a really obnoxious way. 80% of graffiti in town is his doing. Not an eldritch being.

'leafy' (she/her): A kind-hearted little soul! She's soft spoken and very polite, so it may come as a bit of a surprise that she loves joining her friends in on their shenanigans. Always willing to lend a hand to help or a shoulder to cry on. Often underestimated and doted on because of her small stature and sweet demeanor, but one day she'll fix that! You'll see! She just needs to work up the courage to first...

ashlynn, aka ash (she/her/any): Stupidly strong, and strongly stupid. A himbo, if you will, except she's not a "him", most of the time. A herbo, if you will. Loves to join others in on the action, and will throw herself into it with no hesitation or thought of the concequences. Takes most things literally and doesn't seem to grasp the concept of sarcasm or metaphor. Would probably be extremely intimidating if she didn't open her mouth to say the most "no thoughts, head empty" sentences you've ever heard.

allen, aka al (he/him): A friendly 'mon who is always willing to help out! Can be a bit awkward at some times and has a bad habit of just avoiding addressing any of his problems. He's very selfless! Almost a little... too selfless. Unless it's a game of sorts, then he tends to get extremely competitive. He's a good sport, though! Lost his braincell to the friend group. A 'mon of culture.

oliver, aka ollie (he/him): Shy, unassuming, and easily startled/flustered. He's kind of a pushover, really. If there was a prize to be won for "most effort put into avoiding unwanted interactions with people (which is, with a few exceptions, all people)" he would be the recipient several times over. Doesn't really talk much unless prompted to. Has a sarcastic, nastier side, but tries very hard not to show it and feels really bad about it afterwards on the occasion it slips through.

'cinder' (he/she/they): Scary in pretty much every possible way, and they know it. Loves messing around with people and a good ol' fashioned scuffle. If you feel like you're in danger around him, his job here is done. Proud, blunt, and stubborn, she is a 'mon of little words yet big reputation (and stature. very big stature). Puts on a confident and mysterious act, but has no idea how to handle someone actually caring about them. Has never done time.

athena (she/her): Loud, fiery, and unapologetic. Sarcasm makes up about 87% of her bloodstream. Only patient when it's convenient for her, which not a lot of the time. Will not hesitate to voice her opinion and, if need be, wipe the floor with anyone she thinks is nasty. Holds grudges with an iron grip. Prides herself on her strength and ability to protect the ones she cares about, even if she jokes about selling them out for a single corn chip.

scarlet (she/her): Not the most outgoing 'mon around, but definitely the one with the most manners. Always weirdly formal for a teenager, although perhaps that's only to get people to leave faster as she prefers to be alone. She prefers to keep people at arm's length, and has no interest in being close friends with anyone. Somehow manages to be rude in the most polite way possible, and kind of a know-it-all. Looks like a strong gust of wind could blow her over.

audrey (she/her): One of the popular kids, y'know? She's quite the social butterfly and loves that good round of gossip. Supportive and there to give advice (warranted or not), but in a kind of passive-aggressive way. Her charm and charisma makes you forget it annoys you pretty easily, though. It's just her way of showing she cares! Loves dressing up and is always looking her best, and if you let her (or if she lets herself) she'll help you be your best, too, darling~

starshine, aka star (he/him): One cheerful little dude! Likes to goof around if it means he'll get a laugh out of someone. He like lighting up the mood, pun absolutely intended! Distracted pretty easily and tends to just wander off without a word if he sees something interesting or strange to him. Has zero sense of self-preservation and will throw himself head-first into situations he has zero capability of handling whatsoever. Most likely to end up dead in a ditch.

peggy (she/her): Has quite the flair for the dramatic and seems to have a near infinite amount of energy. Curious to a fault and tends to stick her nose into business nowhere near her own. She's very sweet though, and doesn't hesitate to shower her friends in compliments when they're feeling down! She's charming enough that no one can stay mad at her for too long, with the exception of the non-zero number of chain stores she's been banned from.
