A friend of mine came back from his holiday in Spin with an 'a'. He brought back a keychain of "Sonic". I could immediately tell it was a bootleg but It's the thought that counts. He's just a 'lil silly~

I had the idea to draw actual Sonic but with features from the keychain!

I kept his arms skin colored instead of blue. (btw it looks like movie sonic but there's a sonic heroes keychain and a sonic x... other thing too. what is this?! ^^') Essentially, it's just legit Sonic if this is how he looked. Consider it a weird-ass AU design. IDK.

"Have they gotten shorter?.." Sonic looking at his new spines. ("sOnIc'S sPiNeS aRe ToO sHoRt" whaddya think now, sonic fans. are they too short?!) IDK about the rounded spines but I do like the side bits hanging down. Maybe I should've used this design on Amy.

also if you look closely, they used the same piece for his eyes and mouth. this means "bootlonic" has skin sclera... ugh...
