Whew. There goes 4-5 strait hours of my life. Seriously, when I get started on something, I can't seem to stop until I get it done. This was no exception.It's been a while since I submitted a deviation hasn't it? Well, inspiration suddenly hit when I saw Captain Komamura Sajin, and I knew I just had to draw him. He's from the popular anime/manga Bleach, and he really doesn't get a lot of time in the spotlight. Honestly, why is that every time I watch an anime, I always pick characters as my favorites that have little or no character development and are totally devoid of any real plot importance? It's honestly disappointing...
In any case, it was drawn on piss-poor recycled sketch paper with a #2 pencil, scanned into photoshop, and mutilated into something with a semblance of beauty that just barely tops the horror that was the sketch, and then just so it was presentable I threw in a background I made from this tutorial, but with a few differences:

I just don't understand one thing about Komamura-taichΓ΄ (and other characters that use masks). The second their real faced is exposed, they stop using their masks - no matter if only one person saw their real face at the time they exposed it. I don't have anything against Komamura's pretty face or anything, I just can't understand this reasoning. =w='''

I fixed it up a bit and colored in the lines. I'll probably be fixing it up some more as time goes on, like I do with most art.
