I think the anime people colored his eyes red since they assumed that would be right, but Tite Kubo declared his eyes were blue afterwards, so they had to change it

No, uhm actually the people who first did the anime made them redish then when Tite Kubo (creator of the manga series) saw it, he put them back to their original colour. It isn't a fail, hun. Get your facts straight before you go hating on his BEAUTIFUL eyes.

Fact for Kobu Gin's has been drawn with Red, blue, and yellow eyes. Because they were drawn with different tints Kobu can change them when he wants. All three are Canon colors so he can be drawn with all three eye color.

Gin's eyes are light blue. In the manga, that has always been his eye color. The anime made it red, the movies mad it yellow. But they are light blue. Also, Kiyone and Rangiku are blondes and Rangiku has deep blue eyes.

... Methinks Soi Fon's shoes are a little less important than a character's eye color. But to answer you, yes, I'm sure it's not Kubo-Trolen. Look at the cover to volume 20 of the manga and you'll see that Gin has blue eyes.

During the Turn back the Pendulum arc, Kenpachi Zeraki can be seen attending a Captains meeting before he defeated the previous Captain. Another captain had mentioned that the current Kenpachi was very lazy and didn't attend the meetings. Yachiru appears to be about 5 or 6, (50-60 years) She looked the same when she became lieutenant, meaning Kenpachi came into power about the same time as Hitsugaya, (about 20 year before the initial timeline, with Issins loss of power and expulsion as captain of squad 10).

.... First off where did this sudden talk of Kenpachi come from when I was talking about Gin's eye color? Secondly, Isshin being captain of Squad 10 is speculation, unless you have something written by Kubo that shows his former rank, it will simply remain that, a speculation. Finally, give me a link to where Kenpachi is attending a captain's meeting, I'm curious as to how I would not see someone like Kenpachi during that arc.

In the beginning when they did that episodes they didnt know what color his eyes were and didnt ask Kubo...so they assumed they were red-brownish.
But later they came to find that his eyes were actually blue. So thats why in later episodes his eyes are blue...
