smudge tool?! nonsense! mwahahahahaa. you know you can edit them on photoshop, right? save it as a photoshop file and all that jazz. you can open it again on sai.
anyway, i find the brushes to be ... almost like a regular photoshop brush AND a smudging tool combined!! which is why it has such a lovely blendy feel to it.

There ARE some brushes that do seem to like naturally smudging, so I guess it's not too bad. C: Though I'd like the actual smudgy itself.

ah haa~~ :3 which brush are you using? i've been using marker brush for coloring. and the default pencil one for ... drawing? >u>;

I use ink pen for lineart, and marker brush for coloring. ouo <3
