Description
I'm the shadows in the blanket,the one that continues eating the forbidden fruit...
I am the tainted body the tide tosses
over fleeting seas to become one with the gray sky.
It was me that traded my wings for the finer things of this world
only to become a mindless robot controlled by the world.
It is the birds that fly into a setting sun now, not I.
They now mock me for my wings.
How can the stingy feathers of birds laugh
compared to my own?
Although, mine are now shedding down to earth
for I'm a fallen angel that I can fly nowhere.
I guess even birds are smart enough to stay away from where I tread.

Honey this is beautiful and it falls into the surreal catigory also. I like the narrative piece you put with it and I see the lost one in the dark fog (shadows in the blanket).
