Description A beautiful Barn Owl from the Arizona Desert Wildlife Museum. She's gorgeous isn't she? Sadly though, she was very adamant about not looking at me. She kept turning away no matter where I moved.

I think it looks quite nice with the sideways view. C/
Though, I feel like the whole picture is just a tiny bit fuzzy, where it would've been greater to see all the details crystal-clear.
All in all though, it's a really nice shot! <3

Yeah, I wish I could have gotten a better shot, but the Docent who was holding her kept moving her about, so this was the best I was able to get of her. It was really quite disappointing. I'd like to go back and try again one of these days though.

She is actually a human imprinted education owl used at the Arizona desert wildlife museum. I recently chaperoned my little brother and sister's school fieldtrip there and I was able to get this shot and a nice one of an american kestrel that the docents were carrying around. What was hard was getting that much of her pretty face though. She was so adamant about looking away from me. haha

Thank you, I Was very lucky to get pics of her. I wouldnt have even noticed toe docent carrying her if not for one of the students in my sisters class (I was a chaperon) pointing her out to me.
