I was practising interesting compositions for portraits (art class...) and I ended up drawing this random...girl? I'm pretty certain it's a girl.The weird texture is from the watercoulour paper this is done on...I kinda like how it came out and I'm probably going to colour it in water colour or coloured pencil, if not both.
Just wanted everyone to see it before I potentially ruin it. Coloured pencil and water colour are my two "most likely to destory drawing" tools.

how emotionnal could a draw be,... she calls distress, what's broken? In art, there are things that can go deep inside, when we sse a part of us on the face of someone,... you know,...

Y'know you people on DA are weird. When I was drawing it, I figured maybe she just looked intensely sad - oh woe it me, I broke up with my boyfriend...blah blah. Okay, obviously sorta botching things. i dunno. I suppose it would helped if I had actually thought about what emotion I was depicting.

It is pain, and shards of terror. Could well go with the breakup but with the angles and whatnot, it really looks like she's being raped or beaten

drawing on watercolor paper?! that shit's expensive, y'know! before you go ruining your new fav doodle, find some scraps and practice on THOSE first so you get a better understanding on what process you're going through before blindingly doing artsy-wishful-things. if you've already screwed up ... well, print out this copy, trace it onto another sheet of watercolour paper, and try again. ^^ goodluck with your water colour persuit! XD This is my last sheet of water coulour from an era long forgotten (a few years ago it was my favourite medium too, but now not so much.) I'm been doing pretty well with not messing up lately, so hopefully things with this'll go good.....not to say I'm not still gonna practise on scrap paper first. ^o^
