Big wings are pretty tricky to place, I've been trying out new positions other than "fully open" and "closed". As well as trying new poses and angles in general.Related content

Keep in mind that shading can change the appearance of the colors. This is done with "warm shading", the base colors are pulled from the show itself and are quite accurate.

Wings are very tricky. I do like that you put some thought into the skeletal and musculature structures to support the wings - far too many pony illustrators merely tack-weld wings and call it good.

Yup, I like having a bit of realism in my style. So just tacking on wings on the side would just drive me insane.
