This is finally done! It took me over 30 hours off 'n on to draw and paint this from the picture. Thanks to for letting me use the amazing picture! It's 18 by 21, so I had to take a picture of it. This is my first work done for my watercolor class as a value study. My teacher was thoroughly impressed. He went as far as to put it in the school's gallery as the center piece. I'm so proud of this, but it is my first painting, so I would love constructive citicism!Thanks for looking~

Thank you! It can be hard at times to stay within the lines of your lineart, but I like how the final product looks with watercolor. The more you use it, the better you get. I would recommend it.

This is a lovely piece.
Hmm..since you want critique..
I love the overall look and I can tell you put a lot of time into it.
But..
Try to define the edges of the face a bit more, and maybe darken/widen the stripes near the fron part of the body.
The tail could also be cleaned up a bit, and just overall make the edges a bit neater.
But, I do love it, and I think it's one of the best pictures I've seen today!
