Description Triptych made for Gaia Community 's patron shrine -- this year's patroness is Arianrhod.

Arianrhod is mentioned in the Welsh myth cycles of the Mabinogion as the mother of Llew Llaw Gyffes. Her name means "Silver Wheel" and she lived in Caer Arianrhod in the sea, guarding a sacred well, until with her magic she unleashed the full power of the well and the tower was destroyed. In Neopaganism she is associated with the moon, magic, the turning of cycles, the 'turning tower' of rest between lifetimes, the silver web, glamour, independence, and mystery. Local experience indicates that she loves offerings of moonstones, silver bells, roses, and champagne.

Acrylics and iridescent mica powder on sanded, hand-cut pressboard. Sealed with high-gloss enamel, backed with midnight-blue velvet, edged with silver glitter, and Gods only know what I'm going to do for hinges now, because these ribbons fell off after one week.

Obviously, I am not a photographer.
