Officially I have thought of a purpose and explaination for kitto's poison. The guy is basically made of the stuff. Which benefits him because he can use it as powers. Except the more he uses his powers the more he collapses into a pile of spread out goop. This could explain why his face is dripping in the artwork before! This limits him because if he can't collect all of his collapsed self, he'll never be complete.

On a psychological note. Kitto is aware that his entire existence is a huge mistake. Him slowly accepting his fate, allows him to stretch his abilities more, as he slowly realizes that his life was never meant to be from the beginning.
Still have yet to develop an actual story for him, and it's been years. BUT, finally I have a foundation! Very happy about this.
Also on terms of artwork this was my first time using yellow and green undertones and I enjoyed it. I like the mood it gives off!! ALSO A FUCKING BACKGROUND. IT'S ABOUT TIME.
