Eric, again, after Godric's death.When I find out all the reasons

I made this one about a couple of months ago. I wasn't really in the mood of posting it or anything else... don't know why, maybe because I don't really know where I'm going with my art.

Oh god that was one of the most heart breaking things I'd ever seen. That was definitely the introduction to the other side of him. You've done this so beautifully, you really captured the painful loss and the defeat he was in, I'm guessing, when he walked off that roof. I'm guessing the light behind him is the sun fully risen? I don't know if you meant for it or it's just the way you did it, but it looks like on the shoulder of his shirt smoke is coming off. This really is just devastatingly beautiful.

Once again your interpretation is correct... Yes - the light behind him represents a fully risen sun and therefore the fact that Godric is dead. I didn't really plan it when I sketched it, it came quite naturally, but that's what I meant to convey.

*hugs him* Poor Eric. What a bummer. It was nice of Sookie to do what she did in this situation. I like Sookie, I do, but I vacillate between thinking she's got every right to do what she does and that she's really cool and nice and cute, and thinking she's a bitchy slut. I mean...she does have a new guy almost every book...sometimes messes around with more than one per book. That just says "SLUT!" to me, especially since she was a virgin before Bill and now she's just going around with everyone? I try not to be too judgmental, but gee whiz, Sookie >_>.
This is beautiful. It really captures his sorrow. You don't always realize Eric has a heart, and that's the way he wants it, but this shows proof of it because it's clearly breaking <33.

I know what you mean... In the books Sookie is less annoying, though I don't understand, for example, her relationship with Quinn. But you know, she's a red blooded woman, just let her have some fun...

I love how she's written and how it's so personal and funny. I guess Quinn was just kind of around when she needed him to be, and she tends to latch on to those guys. I just don't get why anyone would ever leave Bill in the first place. So they argue...every couple does. But she did lose it to him, after all, so I can understand wanting to let one's hair down and see what the world has to offer so far as men go (the supernatural world would be even more fun haha), so, like I said, I try not to judge too harshly. I just don't like to see Bill hurt, and I've never really understood or liked girls who are the kind to always NEED to be in a relationship, and go right from one guy to the next like stepping stones. That, I lose respect for.
