I ended up naming this one "Woodland". Not very impressive or descriptive... but it works. And btw... it is supposed to be early spring, but there's little to no emotion in this piece. It's just something i thought would look neat and drew it. Which is why i had a lot of trouble coming up with a name for it. Just like one of my new pieces... Chicane... same with that one. For some reason if it's a very emotionally detached piece I have trouble naming it. As with Chicane... i just more or less thumbed through a dictionary and thought it had a nice ring to it.

Its right on the beginning of spring...see the buds on the trees? She is looking for or waiting for someone, I can see a little sadness or frusteration in the eyes as she looks back...they're not there yet. ...Waiting on someone to come home. But, its not a forlorn longing look, but more of a "He's running late again, you know how men are" kind of look. I dunno, maybe I'm reading too deep into it.

I used to have a friend long ago who looked a lot like her, almost the same face....

It doesn't feel like Fall to me... more like the barest beginnings of Spring, since the grass is green and there are buds on the trees. However, Miss Faerie doesn't seem like the type of Faerie girl who entices the newgrown buds to blossom. More like a Roguish girl who entices men into the woods, has her way with them (if they're cute), then leaves them lost. X)
