Noobie photography mistake is, when people think a photo needs dramatic posing, unique camera angle/lightning just to be art. Wrong. My only problem here is that the photo is blurry. "What is art". There is only one answare, everybody agreed on: art is subjective. And don't get me wrong, the main issue is not that you don't consider this to be art. I don't consider most modern arts "art". My problem is how told her to move out of deviantart. While 14k watchers of Kitty-Honey see this as art. Vash-kun also does amateur photography... Most of Vash-kun's pictures are terrible, yet I would never say she should move to another platform. Cos that's only my opinion. Hell I can dig up one of her old cosplay photos just to point out the mistakes you listed on it, turning Vashkun and you into hypocrites.

Yeah well... I don't see the problem with new art styles appearing outa nowhere. But "anything can be called art nowadays" is a little strange in this debate cos female body, sex, sexuality and eroticism in general, is not new in art. It's considered a form of art since the very beggining of time. And the simple fact that you are an artist who is only 16-17 years old and you are already against new art forms, like a grumpy old artist who fears the new that might replace him in the spotlight... it's really scary. How many of you is like that in your generation? Feels like 21st century is the end of humanity at this point. At least the end of western civilizations.

I agree with you. There are many much more artist who spend hours upon days doing a piece of work and get not even a spot on the DA front page, but get something that can be classified as ''Sex, porn, etc'' and boom front page instantly.
It is sad, sex sells, but it overshadows other wonderful pieces of art that should and deserve to be on the front page and gain audience. DA is known for being some what terrible and day by day I see ''Adult themed content'' with no mature tags on. NSFW
