Description For my little sister's birthday I decided to draw her a self portrait. It's a surprise to her and it's from a photo so I had to guess and skimp out on some detail in the hair. Blasted low quality photos! ! Not to mention a crappy scanner. I altered it to pick up more of the detail, but some was lost when scanning... it's also not so grainy in person... boo.

Estimated time... 3 1/2 hours... Just used my finger and a cheap mechanical pencil.

Maybe you could do both, you know? Like sometime you do realistic portraits and the rest of the time you spend it on your usual drawing style but you know, there's a reason why you draw the way you do so just do what makes you happy and don't let people's expectations get in your way but anyway, keep up the incredible work

Hey, I really like your drawing. I dont really take to your style (not into disney), but this piece is very very nice. Love the expression and your creativity, so i faved this one with an option on a watch!

I totally feel you on the scanner, its a bitch to scan pencil drawings on a cheap scanner. I haven't gotten it to my liking quite yet. I think it worked out well for you tho.
Your drawing is lovely and your sister is gorgeous!

Thank you... my style is a love it or hate it from what I gather, but I am really trying to be different. You can really tell what influences me though

I should really do more portraits... My sister is such a good little model :3

You should see them in person... She has one green and one blue eye (hard to tell unless she's outside in the sun) She has beautiful eyes :3
