This is a very nice W.I.T.C.H. image. I loved the series and never liked the comic version of the world of W.I.T.C.H. since I got my start on the series and believe the series is the true version of the story of W.I.T.C.H. it's my opinion not anything to do with your art. It came out nicely as said before

I remember this! I never saw it become very popular...but that might have been because I was already an adult. I have the first comic, the art style is really cute! I never saw the TV show though.
Anyway, the composition is very nice! I have such a hard time with backgrounds.

It was actually a comic series before they wrote the book adaptation and produced the animated series.

No, it's actually a comic series. Then they started to do book adaptations as well as an animated series. However, they stopped doing the books and the television series, but the original comic series is still on going in Italy, the country where it originated.
