I've always wanted to do one of these... and I've seen so many in my search for pixel bases lately, that I decided to just go ahead and do it. Haha. Of course, I had to choose the character with the most outfits. >>; I think the only character I have that has MORE is Aimee from Star Wars, as she's a Queen with a massive elaborate wardrobe. But Ki, being a million dollar heiress, sure is a close second. Bwaha.

Anyway. I decided I'd have to do this in parts, as A) it would be a huge file and B) doing them all at once would kill me. Lol. Soooooo here are the first five of her outfits. And here's a bit on each of them, their origins, etc.

Original -- Ki's first design and attire. Which has been around since 2004 and has remained relatively unchanged up until last year when I redesigned her. Back then, her signature items were her headband, her choker, and her blasted bangs...which were admittedly an excuse to not have to draw two eyes. xD The choker and headband have sort of been phased out in the redesign, but she still occasionally wears variations. The outfit also included a purple jacket as a variation.

Battle City -- Redesign! New bangs, which I like much better... they aren't as gravity defying. (Though since when does that matter in anime, right?) They didn't really come across how I pictured them (like, 'emo' side-swept?) but I still like them. So whatever. xD Anyway, this is Ki's outfit for the entirety of Battle City, featuring Rare Hunter colors. She refused to wear the stupid robe and such, so she compromised. Bwaha. Her second glove is abandoned after she smashes her fist through a window to escape a burning building... woo!

Blue Eyes Signature -- Ki's new main outfit/casual attire. Inspired by the Kaiba favorite, the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Outfit variations include a headband, with the jacket being optional. The major bit about this outfit is that it's the first appearance of the Kaiba locket. I realized during the redesign that Ki ought to have one, as both of her brothers do. So it replaced her old choker.

Bathing Suit -- Bikini time! For the beach arc, Ki and Jacinda needed some fun bathing suits to prance around in, so they went shopping at Beachbunny, hah. When I saw this one, it just screamed Ki to me.... so she had to have it. xD

Virtual Princess -- So this is YGO virtual arc... three? Haha. Another trip into one of Seto's masterpieces leaves Ki and Jace as fantasy princesses... aka: EXCUSE TO WEAR PRETTY GOWNS. I found this one on Google and did a variation on it. Good lord it gave me grief though. Halfway through, I toyed with the idea of making it black and red to signify the Red Eyes instead of the Blue eyes, but it didn't look right. Then I messed with accessories because it looked so blank with her arms bare... but then I didn't like the accessories... then I just got annoyed and left it as it was. Hah. Oh well.

So there are the first five... more to come, but darnit I need a break. xD
