minor history:

Bayberry and Oakflame were kithood best friends, and shortly after becoming warriors, they tied the knot and became mates. Bayberry was beyond happy with Oak, her dreadful and snarky personality easing up throughout the moons spent with him. She was inspired to be nicer, get better. When Bayberry and Oakflame found out they were expecting kits, it was really no surprise. That wasn't to say Bayberry was thrilled, though. Honestly, she was quite the opposite. She didn't really want to be a mother, spending the moons in the nursery complaining that she couldn't just become a warrior again and let someone else raise her kits. She cared about them, and loved them of course - but to be honest, there wasn't an ounce of motherly instinct running through her blood. Regardless, she tried her best - and Oakflame became the primary emotional support for the kittens throughout the moons spent in the nursery.

This clearly caused a mild strain in their relationship - between Bayberry not caring enough, and Oakflame caring too much, it soon became apparent that these kits had brought out the worst in both of them. During the kitten's 5th moon of life, an earthquake hit the clans, taking the life of both Oakflame and Bayberry's sister. Tragically upset by this, Bayberry was both relieved and distressed that her kits were now leaving the nursery and becoming apprentices, scared for their wellbeing and nervous about their attitude towards her after the strain she'd brought them up in.

rules!:

tryouts end june 15th!

- these tryouts are for RSW only, they are not adopts, and if won, they have to be used in the group!
- art isn't required for trying out, but i do encourage it
- i'm lenient with design ownership! but for the first few months of playing the character, i will own the design. after that point, and if you're consistent with using them, i will likely gift you the design to use after their time in RSW is up!
- the form has to be fully filled out, and i encourage you to add more if you think of anything
- please be nice if you don't win the tryout! i promise u it isn't personal and i am very nice and pleas don't be mean to me or anyone else
- i'll allow minor changes to be made to their designs if won! but i would like to keep the same general 'one sleek one fluffy' dynamic, if possible.
