The fur looks soft and fluffy while the shading gives the image a three-dimensional feel. The colors blend beautifully together as they're not too bright yet not too dull, and the white outlines around Crystal help her pop out from the background!
PaintTool SAI's wide variety of tool customization comes in handy whenever you want to experiment with your art. If you plan on sticking with SAI, I'm excited to see what else you can make with it! :-D
