Description Well it's wedding season apparently (??? who decided that june was weddingtimes??? seems like an arbitrary number but who knows...), also Pride Month XD www!! I want to draw my favorites in bridal gowns because I say so. And I want to start with the primary LoS, and start with Jean XD!! (May end up doing the secondary LoS also, you might get a SNEAK PEEK at them~~!! But for now I'm going to try doing the primary LoS, and then move on to who knows.)

I didn't feel like doing a whole digital drawing (because a digital drawing takes more time, since I have to do the setup, the rough lineart, the POLISHED lineart, the colors, and then the shading+highlights), so I just decided to try doing it with mechanical pencils and colored pencils!! (Seems fitting that I would start with Jean then. XD) I used advanced colored pencil techniques to do the rainbow gradients XDDDD (by which I just mean I blended the colors. JEEZY CREEZY it is painstaking to do gradients by hand, but it looks so good if you do it right.)

I feel like Jean's outfits are usually all pretty simplistic, not a whole lot of detail, and strive a somewhat more for function over form. So even their wedding dress ended up being rather simplistic XDDDDD!!! (With the main detail just being that they have a rainbow-colored stripe at the hem of their skirt.) I didn't want to cover up their ahoge with a veil (protect the ahoge and make it stand out!!! if you squish it down the character looks weird ww!!! (but covering it up with a hat is fine. Just don't squish it visibly)) so I gave them this... veiled hairpin thingy???? Not sure what I was thinking exactly but EH!! Their ahoge is fine, that's all that mattered in that moment muahahaha!!

For the bouquet, I went and looked up some flowers and their meanings (because let's face it: flower language can add a lot of depth to your art, and meaning, but non-obvious enough when used correctly (am talking about doing more than just commonly-known flower meanings! Red roses are fine, but there are a lot more flowers that also stand for love, so why not mix it up and take a few paths less traveled? And so on and so on.)) The three flowers I chose for the bouquet, with the meanings that I found from here , are as follows:

- Yellow Tulips ("Sunshine in your smile")
- Myrtle ("Good luck and love in a marriage")
- Red Chrysanthemum ("I love you")

The yellow tulips, which carry the image of a sunshine in someone's smile, are supposed to be like Nico (because if you thought that I WASN'T gonna be a shipper and ship, YOU WAS WRONG HONEY!!). Meanwhile, I COULD have picked red roses for love, but those would have been a little too easy! So I found another red flower that stands for love uwu ! And then I just threw in myrtle, if the meaning is "good luck and love in a marriage" then you HAVE to have it in your wedding bouquet!!! I see no reason NOT to!!!!
(Also holy fuck every time I get back into learning flower language I get SUPER into it!! I may well do some flower language shenanigans with the other drawings, too!! MUAHAHAHAHA~~~~~!)
