This is a piece of gift art I gave to Sleepless Brony at Canterlot Gardens. It's for his story Romance Reports. Note that I'm not linking the fic. There is a reason for that.Those of you who don't mind NSFW as a concept should totally head over to Fimfiction and search for the fic. It's got a lot of feelings and lessons to be learned etc.
This image was made safe for DA. My tumblr has a full version of it that hasn't had anything clone-stamped out.

I like MLP, if that's your question. Whether that alone makes me a brony, I dunno. I kinda loathe a larger swath of the fandom these days, preferring to mainly keep to my own small, disconnected corner. I'm not adverse to meeting other fans, but I am completely disgusted with several favorites of the fandom. Hotdiggitydemon and that asshole who made Something Broke for two.

Well, the MLP fans nowadays are kinda...obsessed with it. I really like MLP itself, but I wouldn't really go too far with. I find the bronies kind of odd--it's somewhat unnatural for boys to be interested in this kind of cartoon. (No offense if you're male.) Especially since MLP was meant to target young girls. Agree for hating on Hotdiggitydemon and Something Broke; I find the former to be disturbing, while Something Broke...just no.

I honestly love cartoons of all kinds. I watch Phineas and Ferb all the time. I loved Kim Possible, and I'm getting addicted to Gravity Falls and Dan Vs. I think MLP hit a spot for me because it's so character driven. Any character can be shoved into an adventure, but things like Look Before You Sleep require actual rounded out people to pull off. I'm a sucker for character driven stuff. Plus, I'm totally a whore for bright, colorful things. Aside from the amazing animation, I really, really love the flaws each character has.
Also, yes. Totally a guy and about 10 years older than most bronies.

Ahh...speaking of which, I miss Kim Possible. Also need to catch up on Phineas and Ferb. I haven't really tried Gravity Falls yet, but most of my other friends are into it. My Little Pony didn't really strike a cord with me at first--I'm usually attracted to more detailed cartoons, preferably anime. After watching a few more episodes, though, I started enjoying it. Somehow. Possibly because all of the characters are so adorable; more likely because of the amazing voice actors (you have to agree, some of those ponys' voices are pretty funny...) I see what you mean about the characters. I've gotten really attatched to the MLP ponies. Especially Derpy Hoof (or whatever her fan-name is) and Twilight...
Not a brony, but respect them. Although I can't undersend 'em.

She was official at one point; named by Rainbow Dash. But some people bitched about her name being a slight against mentally disabled. So Hasbro re-released Last Roundup with "Derpy" removed.
I do love the voices. Dash and Apple Bloom are my favorites.

Oh darn. Derpy Hooves is my favorite, then (although she's only a background character), and second would be Twi. It sucks that people actually got sensitive about the name...It would've been funny if they actually kept it in the show--But it made sense that they cut out that part. Wouldn't want any law suits just because of the fans. And a derpy pony (which I think, is pretty harmless. Scratch that, completely harmless). How does Derpy Hooves even relate to/offend mentally disabled people...? Agh.
The voices of Apple Bloom and Dash are nice--my favorite voice is probably Rarity though...it makes me laugh.

I have no clue. But some people got into a real tizzy about it and started all kinds of loud shit. In the 80's, Hasbro had a name-issue with a transformer. Apparently one of the names had soem really terrible connotations in Commonwealth Countries and a lot of people got very upset. So they're a bit gunshy about "insulting" names.
