"Am I easily that forgotten?" The mare managed in a breath as her body dropped onto the snowy ground. A soft drip echoed through the forest as snow fell from the trees. Tears started to flow from her eyes. "What have I done wrong? I gave you everything I had, and yet you went to Her. " The mistress' words still played in her head. "Killiah doesn't love you. Why else would she come to me? You're useless, pathetic." Noelle was no fighter. The mistress beaten and bruised her. Noelle just took it until she couldn't anymore then ran.
