Sunday Picture DayWe should strive to do things that please God while living for Him. However, those deeds don't determine if God will help us or not. Everyone has fallen, made mistakes, done some things they aren't proud of. God gives everyone the opportunity to confess our wrongs, and repent of them. His mercy and love is endless, and all we have to do is ask. Not everyone can do works of faith at the same level, and God doesn't hold that against us. Doing good for God should be because we want to, not because we're worried we won't get His attention. God knows our needs, and cares about them, and we don't need to hide our hurt in order for Him to answer. God doesn't need proof that we need help, He just wants us to call on Him.
