This is a drawing that is very dear to my heart - it was my Christmas Present to my good friend Pete, who's in his early 20's.Pete's dying of cancer and has been told he's only got a few weeks left to live. He's come to terms with what's happening and has been the strongest person I know facing something like this. We'll all miss him terribly, but we know he'll be watching over us, and we'll see him again someday.
Squeeze the ones you love extra hard while you've got them - and if you've ever got change to spare, donate it to the fight against cancer!

Edit: I just found out that Pete died this afternoon. (Jan 31, 2005). He will be missed very much.
Edit: April 26th, 2006 - wow... Peach for Pete has 1000 pageviews! Kind of funny, I suppose. Today I'm supposed to go over and finally watch Advent Children with Adam and Matty & co. It'll be weird that Pete can't be with us to see it, but sort of funny that this got 1000 pageviews today. Maybe a sign? In any case, we'll definately be thinking about him ^_^ <3 you Pete!

aww i'm sorry about your friend...i know i'm like 2 years late but my aunt just died of cancer this past christmas so i know how you feel...this is pretty. i love her dress i would so wear that if i lost some weight off of my legs...you should make one of daisy she is so much prettier and better than peach!

Yeah, while I tried my best to put a lot of detail in, I also had to rush it - I wanted to make sure he got it before I went out so visit him (which ended up being the last time I saw him). He seemed to really like it a lot, which made me super-happy ^^

I found this in a search for Princess Peach, because I'm a big Peach fan. I'm real sorry to hear about your friend. I notice this piece was done a while ago. Don't want to assume anything, but I've browsed your gallery and haven't found any other info on him.
I do know firsthand that you have to enjoy the time you have with all your friends and family though. So I really feel for you and your friend. None of us are guaranteed a long life, but all of us can lead a full life.
I must say this is a really stunning and sexy pose for Peach. You seem to be great at this, Pete must have been honored to have this.
