Sepia streetlights glared at him through the muted tones of night. The rain shattered against the desolate street corners; droplets catching the colors of lamppost as they fell. He watched the fog stir between his feet. Raindrops played a simple melody on the fabric of his jacket. He brought the cigarette to his lips once more, breathed in all his dreams and, tilting his head back, blew them into theexpansive grey sky.
