This time, I am proud of myself. Really proud. I did believe the lineless painting was going to go all horribly wrong, but it didn't. TTwTT Thank goodness~It was such a sudden burst of inspiration, but I had to paint it. And here is the cat whose death I still find the most heart-aching, no matter how many years pass; Gorsepaw.
If you wonder, I did try and make him fit into the purebreds series, but it doesn't show very well because of the breeze moving his fur - I made him an American Wirehair. Why? None of my designs has used the breed yet, and it fits with his name, since gorse is all prickly. ;3;
I'm not a master at the subtle gleam of sunlight, but I did try my best with several references, and I do like the outcome. I painted and repainted the background a dozen times over to find the perfect shades, and you really don't want to know the amount of strokes spent on making out his fur... but I had to do him justice. I just had to.

This.. This is.. I have no words for how beautiful this is. That innocent, kit-like expression of wonder on his face, which was stolen from the 'warriors' world too soon. The lighting is stunning and the light on the end of the windswept fur is just perfect. This is truly amazing.

Ugggh ;w; As much as I really do love Cinderpelt, I wish she hadn't been reincarnated and this precious cinnamon roll had been instead. Can you imagine Gorsepaw coming back??? Nothing could go wrong, like it did with Cinderheart (ahaha -- what am I saying. The Erins would ruin him somehow LOL) but anyhow, gosh, your art has gotten even more amazing??? My jaw fell when I saw this! I swear that I almost thought it was a photograph when I first saw this in my inbox. Ugh don't even mention it, it was an insult to have her reincarnated at all, she had a perfectly good life! Imagine disabled readers reading about this and just... yeah Cinderpelt broke her leg and became an invalid, she gotta die and be reborn to have a better life lolol. That's what it sounds like!! :<
