I got my grubby little hands on a FRUiTS book a while ago, and I was super inspired by the EGL (Elegant Gothic Lolita) style.This is my take on it.
I decided to focus more on the Elegant part and down play the Lolita. The traditional EGL outfits are often quite frilly and lacy, and since I tend to prefer simpler designs, I super simplifeid the look.
So, umh, this is a Kitty take on EGL.
The dress would be made out of black velvet, with tullé underskirts, and cotton lace. The dress would be laced up in the back.
Kneeleght leather boots.

I'd REALLY like to say something interesting about that, but after some time in front on the screen nothing comes out. A favourite, because it's so... damn... now I remember why... my ex used to dress like that. And she was blonde also ... Ah, whatever... I still love it. Your work, not my ex. Well.. her too, but that's not the point

Much harder than your usual style, you usually have softer lines and less dominant colors. A refreshing change, I'd say, but I prefer your 'usual' style over this. It is a great drawing though, I am still in envy of how cool you make hands and feet. Well done kit!

The contrasts in the original are much less stark. My scanner damn near raped all the colours, and no amount of photoshopping I could do would restore them to the way they are in the original drawing.
But still, I like how... um, harsh, this came out. The style of the outfit demanded something more powerful than what I usually do.

I love! You´ve gone gothic! And you´ve coloured this with copics. Oh how lovely it looks!! Especially I like the hands and the fingers that are holding the string (lanka eiku?) And her expression, and somehow the blush on her cheeks and hands and fingers looks so good. Peachy. And the high heel shoes. Elegant as always your drawings are.

Yes, I've found my inner goth again.
I used to be such a goth when I was younger, and now and then I feel like "getting my goth on" again. Especially with the "Tuska" metal-fest in town now.
I'm happy as a pig in muck with my new Copics. They cost me lots, but that's peanuts compared to the joy they bring.
I just wish that my scanner wouldn't rape the colours. This looks so much better in real life.

I´ve just lately got to know my inner goth-self but it is not visible that much to the outside. 
Oh and I sure did buy some copics when I had the chance during my last visit in Helsinki. They are so darlings. I got some marker paper also, tough I´m not that good in using them.

Looks gorgeous, I love the straight black you used for the dress. It looks more elegant like that then it would had you added shading.

Very lovely. The lace kind of looks like a string of tiny happy skulls. And anyone wearing this dress would be out to steal a few hearts (in the figurative sense).

The skullness of the lace was unintentional, but now that you mentioned it I'm going to say that I planned it like that all the time.
