Madoka Magica genderbenders! Idea came from this post: [link] . I don't know if taking this too seriously or not, due to the not too nice anatomy, let alone outfit accuracy. I'll hope for no-bashers, tho.

Something really random, as I'm not much of a fan for the series. I admire the outfit designs, however, and it seems I wanted to butcher them out of boredom.

Some references were used, but I'm aware the quality of the outfits, weapons, etc. isn't top notch. Even if they look weird and odd proportioned, I had fun drawing genderbenders and regulars alike xD

To get the genderbenders more or less acceptable was a bit of a task for how girly (of course) were already the original outfits, so I tried to focus on traits and such.

Since Madoka has a bow and arrow, from the start I pinpointed her male counterpart as some of a prince, with those bulky pants from the Middle Ages and maybe Renaissance whose name I don't know instead of the skirt. Probably his color scheme would be a little bit darker than plain pink and light yellows and such xD
Mami seemed to me a mix of a cowboy(cowgirl?), hunter (the hat, I think) and steampunk outfit, so I went with a cowboy theme for the male. It may have left out two of the aspects, but I'm still fairly okay with it for the meanwhile.
Sayaka looked like a knight-girl, so her male counterpart was a bit of a no-brainer. It was hard to translate certain aspects (that chest-armor looks a bit odd, as the boots), tho.
Kyoko was particularly hard since I couldn't pinpoint much of an exact theme going for her outfit, but by some reason it seemed acceptable to me to translate it as an aristocrat for the male. He probably just ate one of those pocky's! His hairstyle was going to be a bit more like Gackupo's, but I feel this one looks better in my style.
Homura was a bit though for me, too, basically because I simply didn't know what to do with the skirt, so I turned it on those weird belt thingies. I'm not still 101% pleased with "him" (He looks a bit like Hetalia's Japan xD) but he was fun to do.
