Description
A commission for of a crafty amphibian. Related to the Tetsucabra, instead of brute force this beast uses a special moss-like mold that it has formed a symbiosis with. The mold secretes a blood-like substance that is rich in glucose. Normally this mold is quite rare as Neopterons love to eat it so it never gets a chance to grow large. But the slimy skin of the Mycobufo creates a perfect substrate for it to grow rampant on, providing camouflage and the monster gets to eat any Neopteron that would otherwise try to eat its fuzzy coat. But another benefit the mold provides is that its secretions are used by the Mycobufo to be metabolized into a powerful hallucinogenic toxin that disorients prey and predators. Hunters are still trying to figure which method cures this status ailment….
