I got my new cockatiel today~ :'D the guy we bought him from said that since he was so young (10 weeks old) it was hard to tell whether the bird's a boy or a girl, but the breeder said he was probably a boy >w> i was going to name the cockatiel Delilah because i wanted a female cockatiel but since this one's probably a boy, i think i'll name him Percy... unless i change my mind later xDanyway, this is Percy perched on my wrist (hes just learning how to perch well
) and whistling c: i love him so much

well there are a lot of ways to fix behavior problems even after youve had it for a while... i think... have you ever tried to give him treats like millet? (i think thats what its called xD)

Advice on bird raising: Make sure he has a big cage. It may be big enough for him now, but he will grow and will need a large cage because keeping animals in very small cages is both cruel and hazardous to their healths. (Not saying you cruel-just pointing it out!)
LOL, that's about all I know...oh, and most tropical birds like fruit. Don't buy normal fruit that only really grows in America, because his body may not be adapted to eat it and could make him sick. Buy maybe mango or passion fruit!

i am not sure, but horizntal bars wuld be better. maybe about the size of a teacher's desk at school? (AKA Pretty big.) No 2 teacher's desks.

well the breeder has handled him his whole life so hes really used to humans holding him and everything~ he even came right to my hand the first time i met him xD he loves to hide in my hair lol :3
