Description Full title: The House From My Dream VI - There is something in the back of the garden

This is the sixth part of my "House From My Dream" series. I dreamt of the same house again, but this time I was in the backyard. There was a wild garden there, and something frightening in the back of the garden. I didn't want to know what it was. It was something someone had left there a long time ago.

It seems to me that you've taken what I see (saw) as a dark, forbidding, dangerous place and turned it into a promise of something new, something worthwhile, something inspiring. I quite like what you've done there. And you saw the fence, and the gap in it. I think maybe by painting our fears and dark places we can actually shed some light on them and turn them into a source of strength. Thank you.

There's interesting textures in your work. This suits the season well, with Halloween and the full moon... (Is it the moon or something else?) Leaves a lot up to the imagination.

Thanks! The painting has many layers, which contributes to the textures, and the canvas paper has its own texture. I think the painting was indeed influenced by the full moon (yes, it is the moon) and the season.
