Without Sam, Third Eye would just be Celeste. She brought the best characters to the table, and I love that she lets me play around with them and write for them.

Mink Emmett was originally designed by the brilliant Samari Smith. She came up with a concept for a girl running an occult shop. We talked about her girl, and started working on her together. I came up with the name 'Mink' from the only bit I could read in a phonebook-style manga collection. Mink is Sam's baby, but she's nice enough to let me shove Celeste on her, and write for her, and use her in comics.

Sam's basically my family sans the blood relation.
