*Gets heavy things thrown at her.*Okay, so thus far the story has been a mixture of Disney's version and the original by Andersen. But this is where the Naruto characters "take up the reins," so to speak. A few people have asked me how this is going to end. I won't tell you precisely, but I will tell you this:
I'm not a fan of walking off into the sunset, laughing together for no reason like a big ball of cheesy... cheese... but I am a fan of "happily ever after."
This story's just a little longer than the other "Narutard Theater" stories. Look forward to the last part!
On a related note, I'm totally shocked by the beautiful submissions I've recieved for the contest! I'm so excited to see who wins!

The mermaid princess got her voice back, before getting the prince, simply because the sea-witch got bored...That's an original take on the ending, and it really does suit Gaara XD
Tenten looks really cute when she's crying, but the second-to-last panel captures her attitude so well ^_^
I wonder how Tenten will stop the arranged marriage...
I mean, the only thing Neji remembered about the girl who saved him from drowning was the "Breathe, dammit! Breathe!" part

....How in the world did I not know of your Narutard Theatre? I just spent like, the last half-hour reading them all. You rock, seriously. Man, I thought I was like, the only one who saw how Disney could be modified for Naruto! (I made this megahuge Flash animation all about Neji and Tenten and Disney. Coincidentally, Little Mermaid was in it. XP)
I really like how you've decided to go with more of a "original" version influence of the Little Mermaid. So many people only know the Disney version. Though I too, like a "happily ever after." XP Eagerly awaiting the last page!

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but in the original didn't the sisters cut their hair off and give it to the witch in order to obtain the knife, and the knowledge that could save the mermaid?
