Hi there! Thank you for your comment! The materials that i used are| Prang Watercolor 12 colors set! They are cheap but they quality is excellent. Also because this drawing belong to my everyday sketch so Prang works great! The brush is Derwent water pen brush size 1, high quality pen brush so it last very long! Hope i help! I had tried all type of popular water pen brush that many popular artist use I still think Derwent is the best one. Derwent tip is actualy fur/hair instead of plastic like many waterpenbrush, also because it is highly made so you control the water better, the water last longer aswell. However, many popular artist use them especially Asian artist, they love water pen brush and not many of them know about Derwent, so they use the other but still being able to make amazing art work then i think it is depend on how you use it and which one you prefer. You should test the cheap one, they works!
About the pencil mark, i did sketch my wprk first before i paint but only the outline and go detail (pattern) with watercolor. For the human character i rubbed off the pencil before painting, without pencil line the subject look softer instead of sharp. For the fish i left the pencil there and paint water ofver it, as water evaporate it takes away the lead pigments aswell but still able to leave the outline to make the subject stand out ^^. Hope my answer help!
