OMG the baaaaaabbbby! I loooooved this scene in the game. Everyone just saying hi, Jaal listing off all the different names as you pass by them with absolutely no way of remembering them all. The angara remind me of my husbands family; big, Greek, loud, loving, in your face, and accepting with open arms no matter who you are. Also Jaal's mom is so much like my mother-in-law IRL; "Can I ask you a bunch of probing questions? I don't mind, don't worry, I don't get embarassed."
It's nice that they replicated my RL husband/husbands family in alien form in this game

Woooow! This is so awesome! You can totally feel the warmth and acceptance from Jall's family as they get to know his girlfriend!
It's so sweet and adorable! I also love how you made Ryder shorter then them, it gives a beautiful dynamic of how otherwordly the Angara are and gives a real sense of awe and subtle majesty.

For me, that would probably be the hardest part of falling in love with an angara, I'm an extremely private person and the thought of living in such close quarters makes me sooooo uncomfortable

I imagine it took a bit to do, but the results are great, favorited it!
When I first started Andromeda, was wanting to try it out since the hate seemed...overblown and some reasons people were coming up seemed kind of flimsy or weak, though there were haters with very good reasons that I either agreed or disagreed with. At first I didn’t think too much of the Angara. But as the game went on, as I learned more and more. They grew on me. And after finding out what the Kett are doing to them, the horror stories (eighty years of war and horror...), and knowing Jaal more, they gradually became my favorites. They have to be tough and resilient to survive so long...and have the willpower to not give up despite how bleak things seemed.
The Exaltation thing was just...horrifying. All the Angara knew up until then was that the Kett were enslaving and killing them. Finding out about Exaltation...I bet they were horrified too. I brought Jaal along...poor guy. Wanted to hug him.
The Angara are my favorite race in Andromeda. They, and Andromeda, have a lot of potential in fanfics, and I love writing fanfics.

Same. The Angara grew on me pretty quickly. Now they are my favorite species in the games. For me the whole gaming experience was positive mostly thanks to them. They are fascinating.

One thing that terrifies me regarding future games is what if Exaltation happens to one or more of your team if you make the wrong choices?! Like the Suicide Mission of Mass Effect 2.
In the second playthrough, my female!Ryder, Sakura Ryder, will romance Jaal. And the thought of Jaal getting Exalted...

That would be Baranji, or so I imagined. Lathoul is on the far left. They're hugging/holding hands since that's what the angara like to do, and I think that's really adorable. c:

Oh hair! *must touch* Love the atmosphere in this one, it's very familial, and full of wonder. The baby angara is a nice touch too. The kid, you just know, wants to touch that hair on Ryder's head. Oooh! New toy!

Thank you so much. Yep, that's Sahuna. Gotta love her curious nature. I admit, I spent a lot time with this one, because I wanted to make the athmosphere just right. Good to know that it paid off.
