Believable, though only someone with half a brain wouldn't know that thylacines are extinct.

I agree ! They totally need to do that, only then we will know the truth.
I hope they're still out there, somewhere in the forests of Tasmania.

Yeah! I really don't think they've even tried cameras yet! They are just assuming they are gone, but think of all the species we find that are thought to be extinct! There are tons! And we are always finding more!
At the very least, I hope some day our work because advanced enough that we might somehow be bale to clone the Thylacine and bring it back. Maybe the preserved pup that is in existence might have a shred of DNA left in it that could be used.

I guess they tried some, but not very much.
between what do you think about these photos, these are supposed to be Thylacines.

Well, the last ones head reminds me more on a Dog than a Thylacine.
I agree, we found so much species which were believed extinct, like the Okapi or the Coelacanth (fish).
I really wish the Thylacine makes a comeback, too.
I heard there are some preserved specimen which have a useful DNA, but the Technology to clone it isn't on the right level.

Fake. =/ That's a dog that has been photoshopped to have stripes and a Thylacine tail. (and the first one doesn't even have any stripes)I saw those before, and it's sad that people are resorting to that.
Really? I knew they had a few preserved pups, but I know over time the DNA disintegrates, so they didn't think they could get viable DNA, but who knows, maybe in the future they will be able too, I just hope it's in my life time.

I would love if they found wild ones! That would be the best in my opinion, then they should take the ones from the wild, breed them in captivity, and then release them again, like they did with wolves.

Well all we can do is hope for now, I just wish we could get real photos or video, something that can't be explained away so easily. >.<
