Reason or meaning of name: No real meaning, just one given to him.
Nickname: Azael
Reason: Blue Dragon taken in after being found washed ashore as an egg at the Isle of Quel'Danas, and raised to take the form of a Blood Elf/High Elf, not a Human like the rest of his kind.

Species: Blue Dragon Flight Drake, Specifically Armored Azure Drake, but gets a higher form from being a close-related egg from one of Malygos's last clutches.

Greatest flaw: Has yet to achieve true form, since he's a drake that can evolve into a higher rank. (His dragon parts in the image above are from his true form, otherwise in dragon form he looks like the Armored Azure Drakes.)
Best quality: Very easy to get along with and getting to know, friendly, caring, etc.

-Additional Notes on This Character:
Uses his Blood Elf form most of the time but turns into his real form when needed. Later on in life he's on good terms with both Horde and Alliance.

As for how he was taken in by Blood Elves, his egg was stolen from a clutch in Coldarra, Northrend. The ship holding his egg crashed and it floated ashore to the Isle of Quel'Danas, where his Foster Father found him while on duty there. He knew taking in a dragon would be dangerous of a risk, but it all turned out okay.

Unknown to him, the people that egg-napped Azaeligos before he hatched, he was from the most recent Clutch supposedly belonging to Malygos, Tyragosa, or possibly Kalecgos before Malygos's death.

Horns are Crystal like Kalecgos's and Malygos's, same with the crystals on the wing tips and tail spikes/tail tip. Scales are a attractive blue that can turn dark or lighter depending on the lighting. All jewelry is Gold with Sapphire Jewels. Skin is a very Pale White, Hair is Red Brown, Scale surrounded eye is Neon Blue, eye with magic glow is Emerald Green (Belf Disguise).
