Your shading seems to be smoother, and your newer skin tone looks more realistic, so to speak. The curve along the cheek in the newer one helps a lot to differentiate the style and give her a rounder look. You now include more details with the ears, too.

I think she's adorable either way, but I really like the details you added to the second version. The shadowing of the hair and dress, as well as the realistic-looking anatomy, make her look even prettier. I'll bet your drawing skills will improve even more in another two years.

2011 looks like a cute little anime girl
2013 looks like a prettied up little girl's doll
not much of a comparison between apples and oranges, but in terms of style
2011 had more interesting colours
2013 feels more flat, but clearly shows better technique
personally i much, much, much prefer 2011, cause i like anime

It looks realy realy cool but i think she will look 100% better if she dont hav this lipstick on her:/becouse of this lip stick she dont look cute:/
this gurl on left site in my opinion looks like a normal cute child and on the right oh well beter not tell whut i thin on the first time when i see her face becouse only thos lips is freaking bothers me >.< oh and the nail on her hand and feets too>.>

Her face looks so much more defined &really cute that her hair is green, i don't see much of those!^^ I like the purple on her better than red/pink. Her legs+hands improved! And her eyes are so much more softer which gives her an innocent look! Great job.

Like other people have stated, neither one is bad. Obviously your skill has improved, but more noticeable is that your style has evolved a great deal.
While the first one is a very well drawn cartoon style, the second has much, much more of a render look and feel to it. I, personally, prefer the second one by a long shot, but it's just so different that personal taste comes into play. I'd would say the difference is most obvious in the hair. While the first one's green mop is more of a cartoon anime look, the second is far more dynamic and... real feeling? Like it's coming at you, not you're just looking at it.
Either way, leaps and bounds in two years! Keep up the great work!

Definitely an improvement.
I mean not saying your art was bad, but like looking at the side by side comparison, you did retain old aspects, but there's just something about your new style that adds a touch of more life and dynamics to it.
Both are great, but I think all of us would like to continuously see you progress!!!

I think you have improved quite a lot with shading and anatomy, but I like the colour scheme in the first one more.

I'm kind of surprised by how many like the old one better and just leaving it at that. If I was Kiwi's shoes, I'd see all of this to be a slap in the face. I can understand sentiments, and all, but simply saying 'I like the old one better' doesn't give her anything to work with.
I haven't watched her before, but reading these comments just makes me depressed. :/

Both are unique styles in themselves <3 and you have definitely improved so much! Your colouring, shading and highlighting has much more depth to it and although you were able to do all these things before, it seems they come easier to you now. In your more recent works you use a bigger variety of colours and its amazing how you are able to blend them so seamlessly. Watching you stream is so magical, and the way you are able to draw and colour hair, material and skin has greatly improved, each time it becomes more and more life like and more unique. You should be proud!

Personally I don't really like purple and green together unless they're very light, so it could just be me, but it's almost as though the second one has too much contrast? Still an improvement from the first, though.

I like the first one more because it looks more innocent (for example: no lips, bow legged, thinner legs, ect.) But I also like the other one because your coloring and line technique has improved so much.

Whenever I see people redrawing things I want to say "Oh wow, so you're not using that skill level anymore? Can I have it?" Then I remember the world doesn't work like that, and I get sad.

woah! the old one is s much better! there are a few things that you improved on, such as the braids and the limb propotions. but i think that the colouring is way better on the first one, and i like the smaller head on the first one. but thats my opinion

I thing that really the main difference is style here. I love the style of the first one more than the 2nd, however, in terms of accuracy and clean lines, I'd have to say the second is better. You've improved, and your style has changed a bit.

You've improved a lot in terms of shading and lighting! It's a lot more developed now, more rounded and realistic, and the reflections are beautiful.
I'm inclined to say that I like the actual hue of the 2011 dress better, but that's more of a colour preference than improvement judgement. <3 Keep up the great work!

Though i do love the improvements you've made over the course of the year, in the new methods of shading and coloring and softer curves, I do think that perhaps the proportions of the first drawing (in terms of the head size to the body) were a bit more pleasing to the eye.

The 2013 technically is so much better! You improved at anything you could! Colors and deepness (older one is very flat) of the new one are great, and the colors relations, just ahhhhh. Anatomy is much better too (on 1st one left arm is just flat on the newer you can actually see a free space between her arm and chest). You've totally became a great artist.

For some reasons I prefer the style shown in the first version. I also think the color contrast feels better for the eye in this one, buuut the coloring and shading skills improved badassly from the first to the second one and the rounder anatomy fits better than the more angle-ish one from 2011. The fact that the second one seems almost lineless also change alot of things, but it's only a personal preference of mine, I like them with linearts more. The quality of your lines got much better in the 2013 version though and it shows that you know alot more what you're doing in this one than the previous one. All in all, amazing job and great improvement!

Hmm. I think I actually prefer the old style. It looked cute and chibi? The new style looked more like a cute-chubby little doll if that makes any sense. Still reeally good, but I prefer the 2011 one ^_^;

I'm just gonna post what I posted on Tumblr, because I dunno what Tumblr does to posts atm.
It has gotten so much better. That some people prefer a more βtraditionalβ chibi style says nothing about the actual improvement.
The gesture, details like nails, a nose and lips and the coloring, what I love the most about your art, has immensely improved.
I do prefer the dress of 2011, but itβs a total different dress than from 2013, so I canβt say anything about improvement on that.

They're both great; if I had to describe it, I feel like I'd be saying that the left is anime-esque and the right is Western comic style. If I had to pick one, I'd pick the left one (but that's cause I'm partial to anime stuff).
