Description I did get a request on colouring curly afro hair, and I took the opportunity to draw this simple illustration for it. Just drawing a head with afro hair was a tad too boring in my opinion.
Not much to add, really. The tutorial on colouring afro hair can be found here: [link]

Drawing something simple is quite nice for a change, though I guess some people will hate me for it.

To be honest, you can't really compare the two markers, because the nibs are so different (except the broad one of course). The FlexMarker does have a very flexible brush-like nib and it's well attached to the body; so I can't see it falling off. Here's an info page on the FlexMarker from Letraset: www.letraset.com/shopcontent.a… . I hope that helps a bit.

It all depends on what you need the marker for. I need a brush nib, so the Spectrum Noir markers wouldn't fit in my criteria for that.

Yush, finally able to use a proper net connection! x3
I find colorind darker skin very hard, but it doesn't seem to be much of a problem to you! x) Always end up usinf to many layers and just makind it look too dull in the end. Hahaha >__ <
I really envy the way how you can do so soft coloring by using simple shadows but still being able to create the feeling of depth with them.
Even if you say this is very simple work, i find a lot of nice little details in this. Girl's pose is very nicely done, instead of just standing there she has that nice little swing in it.
Adding the white area and doing the same thing with the stars is a nice idea also.
Thos folds in her pants are so nice also!

I am pretty much alright with Katakana these days, though I still tend to mix up 'n' and 'so' occasionally. XD Still, I am better at Hiragana most the time. *haha*
