Yeah, I think it's impossible to enjoy mtnn without getting a certain amount of enjoyment out of Yako's (and I guess everyone else who is ever around Neuro) suffering.  The entire series is basically a perfect representation of schadenfreude.  xD

Poor Yako was so excited about that melon too.  She has an amazing amount of faith in Neuro's good intentions despite him being, well... Neuro.

All she knew was that he went shopping, came back with a super ripe melon, and it was killed right in front of her eyes.

She probably could've eaten it still afterwards cause it's not like he pummeled it to pieces, just in half. That and the juice probably got on her; licking it off her hands like a greedy fuck when she has a chance to escape.
