Yep, I thought as much. If he were to sing, I could imagine his voice being all screechy and raucous. It's clear to me that he can sing as much as Michael Bay can direct. Ā

I always loved Starscream's voice and hated that Chris Latta died. He was the original voice and only one person has been able to rightly reproduce that sound, back when he appeared in Beast Wars.Ā

Oh, yes I remember that Beast Wars episode where Starscream's ghost appeared and possessed Waspinator. That episode was epic on many levels.

Beast Wars was my first Transformers so I have so many good memories of it. Actually right now my Beast Wars toys are out on the shelf (didn't realize until I put them out that I had more Predicons than Maximals.... Unless you could all the different types of Rattrap I have. I loved him so I ended up with both the show Transmettle and Target's special Transmettle, Rattrap from the begging of the show (still in box cause I got that ten years after the show aired), and a Generations Rattrap. Actually a while back I did research on all my Transformers and found out I ended up with Japanese exclusive Transmettle Cheetor and Transmettle Waspinator. I have no idea how I ended up with them.

I don't really have any Beast Wars toys. I mainly collect the original '80s Transformers toys. I might consider buying some Beast Wars figures sometime in the future, however.

I've tried to collect mostly G1 recently. Thanks to a friend of mine, his brother had gotten them originally so I'm technically the second owner for them. Only problem, most lived in a dirt pile in their backyard for years.... A lot of their stickers and wheels are showing their age. Though I did end up with an Optimus Prime that pre-dates the TV show. I don't know if you've seen the art that's from before Megatron was in charge of the Decepticons, it looks like Starscream was the leader at that time, but I ended up with Optimus from that era from his brother's dirt pile. The newest series I have would probably be Robots in Disguise (though that's from the mid 2000s). I got a few from the most recent generations line but they've gone to using the worst plastic ever.

Sounds interesting, you certainly know your G1 Transformers, just as I do. Robots in Disguise was the early 2000s, actually. I personally think that it's better than 2015 RID. But then again, I've never watched the latter, so I'm not a very fair judge.

I've kinda fallen out with the newer Transformers. I've seen a bit of Prime and got the WiiU game as a Christmas present a few years ago (which I liked how many of the original voices came back for it) but it was kinda meh. Give me anything from 80's to 2000 and I'm good. ^^

So, I take it you don't like the Unicron Trilogy or Animated either, then?

I saw a little bit of Animated but not even to really say I've seen it and I've never even watched the Unicron Trilogy.Ā

What did you think of TFA? I have only just watched the whole series a bit less than seven months ago.Ā

I don't really remember too much, like I said, I didn't watch enough of it to say I even watched it.Ā

I don't suppose you are the slight bit interested in watching Animated. I would recommend it, though as it is one of the best and most well-written TF shows in my opinion.

If you can afford, you could buy the Shout!Factory complete series boxset of TFA, like I did earlier this year.Ā Ā
