---- visit my tumblr for progress pics: [link] ----After 3 days I finally managed to finish this piece - and I must say I really like it.
The last time I made an entirely digitally created and seriously coloured fanart... I don't even know how long it's been since then. :'D
So, the basic idea of this is Alex saving Desmond during the plot of ACI
He follows them to Italy, finds the building and rips Vidic and probably Lucy as well to shreds, before mindlessly destroying the Animus to save Desmond.
I hope he'll be okay though if Alex destroys the machine like that...

The silence following the screams of mere seconds before was loud and disturbing in its entirety. There was no sound to be heard. The room was covered in bits and pieces of flesh and torn bloodied clothing. Puddle of blood littered the floor and slashed stains of red across the wall. It was a gruesome sight to behold.
Alex crouched in the center of this carnage, clawed blackened flesh still digging into the remains of a mans leg. After a moment in which he seemed to regain himself a bit he stood. Turning, the virus eyed the white machine towards the back of the room, there were sharp stripes of red scraped across it here and there but for the most part it was pristine. As was the man sleeping atop it. A soft growl escaped Alex's lips as he moved towards it, arm already raised. He smashed the glass partially hiding Desmond's face from view and crouched over the man. Absently he brushed a few shards of glass of of him and checked his pulse.
"Desmond." He called, voice harsh and demanding. "Wake up." Desmond didn't stir and with a growl Alex knocked his head against the bartender's. "Desmond. I can't, you need to-" he trailed off, eyes catching on Desmond's lips. Shifting a little Alex leaned a bit coossr and pressed his lips to Desmond's. "Wake up." He muttered against his lips. "Please."

i never know what to expect with mature content stuff. there's a good mix of good and bad quality pics in that category.
but when i clicked full-view, all i could say was..

this is AWESOME! honestly one of the best Alex/Desmond, or Protocreed pictures i've ever seen! and the story behind it is lovely. :love;
