I like both! He's about two years older now, and lots of people change their hair styles in that amount of time. Plus, if a different artist just did the exact same thing as Jim Cheung, as an artist I imagine that would be really frustrating and limiting. McKelvie is doing his own thing, his own style. But hey, there's always gonna be critics, and I'm sure people would complain if the hair style was the same too. Woot free speech!

About the picture: Yeah, you're right. Of course, it would be weird if they just tried to copy the old styles. But then again, I think that together with their old looks, a bit of their character features I so loved ("little geeks that tried to not catch attention") is lost as well. But we'll see how the new comic evolves.

I like the old look. Not because the new look looks gay, which I don't get he looks normal and even if he looks guy does it matter. I mostly like the old one better because I like the craznesss of the hair and the jacket look.

Old Billy will always have a place in my heart... But new Billy seems like a kid actually expressing himself, and not in the whole BILLY IS SO GAY NOW way that half of tumblr is griping about...
I simply mean his old style seemed more like a guy trying to blend in, his new style looks like a guy being himself

Although I'll admit I love Billy in the YA/Runaways Civil story, and in the YA Dark Reign story... The artists for those two just made him adorable
