Body has been stuffed for a few weeks and the arm sleeves have been completed.

I needed a little time away from the sewing station since I was having trouble focusing on this project. However, I am back at it and will be finishing it up in the next few weeks.

A little background on this next one:

Although there are many of Cybird's games to play in English, I would LOVE to get my hands on Ikemen Genjiden - and if it's not for the story, it's definitely because of Tamamo. The premise of the game - which takes place in the Kamakura period (1192 is the year) - is that you play a a pharmacist (loosely translated from 'healer') who gets caught in a fight between the two Minamoto brothers after helping an injured fox - who turns out to be an Ayakashi who binds his soul to yours as a thanks for help him. Tamamo is the ever-so-tricky nine-tail fox who works in collaboration with the eldest of the Minamoto brothers - Shogun Minamoto no Yoritomo.

Now, personally, I happen to love Japanese folklore - especially when it comes to the demonology department. I think part of my fascination for Ayakashi came from reading a lot of manga when I was in high school that had Ayakashi as main characters.

Either way - I'm super excited to see the end product of this character, especially since I'm going to be working with faux fur!
