uh. pretty disappointed with this piece, i know it could've been done better... ><the girl was done in a flash, but the background/foreground took me many days.. had no inspiration. spent a lot of time staring at the screen, thinking hard of what to draw...
but i guesss it turned out satisfactory

Despite the fact that two years have passed, this is still one of my favorites. Even with the disproportionate arm, I still get the same vibe that I got years ago.

She looks almost as if she is hugging herself, waiting for the one made for her to find her and hug her so she doesn't have to hug herself. Its beautifull, the colors are gental and warm, but the contrasting background gives it that.. dreamy almost sad look.
She also looks as if to be dreaming.. dreaming of her own world where she belongs..where she's loved... where everything is peacfull. She looks so inoccent and beautifull... I love it. So much.
I believe this is one of my altime favorites. Please, keep drawing such beautifull masterpeices that reflect dreaming and believing in your self. You don't know who they keep going."

You have some great art, yet not many visitors. Most likely because you comment soooo little on other peoples stuff. Your face is basically not seen anywhere (bad promotion, invisible).
This stuff is great, it would get hundreds of favs, I'm sure, if you were a bit more exposed to others here.

ahha.. well, i'm kinda happy how the cloth turned out, but i know i couldve done better.. especially on the skin, details on face and background. that's why i'm kinda disappointed.. but i kinda do like this piece.

God...the overall effect of this piece is so beautiful I almost can't believe that you would have any problems with it. ; ; I admire the fact that you stick to your vision and feel that this isn't as good as it could have been, but its so unbelievably warm and soothing that I don't think many of us would see its supposed 'flaws'. Great work, really.

true.........you could actually do more to improve it further but anyways, you need not be disappointed, it's good!
sometimes it happens that you can't think of the appropriate thing to do while cging it. (always happens to me, and then gets sick of tired of cging a piece, screwing it up

This is a pretty little picture. I really like the dress and the way it flows and the whole backdrop gives it a kind of fairytale feel.
I wish you would have worked a bit more on the subjects face, though......and, to me, her arms look out of proportion, like one would be longer than the other one.
All in all, it appealed to the "pretty" in me...a wee bit of refining is all it needs.
