Old piece I markered and Photoshopped today. Interesting Freudian slip in it that I was too lazy to fix. - -A few anatomy brushes used from ~nineveh . Thank you very much. Go see her works, she takes lovely photographs.

the brushes certainly lend neat effects to this. i love the speckled/freckled look they give his skin tone in places. the swirl thing over his eye looks really good and so different. i'm not overly fond of goatees (or however you spell that) but it works for this character, as does the white hair with the grey color scheme. i do not like the thing at the back of his neck though. looks like his spine is breaking through the skin and coming out the back of his neck. yuck. but what is the Freudian slip? i admit, I don't see it.

I think the slip was that I drew elf ears, then drew beard... those kind of don't go together too well.

Absolutely beautiful work. I adore how the surface and the background looks like old withered paper, or old dusted ground and walls, old decayding memories and moments, and his white hair looks like a void of silence where other shapes dissapear.
Absolutely magnificent piece, very striking, especially while you've rendered the character in such a mysterious way, with such beautifully delicate feautures of almost changeling fairies.

Copics sketch markers are fuuuuuun ^_^ I love the linework, and the grungy brushes add a lot to finishing up the piece. It's really nice how even when you use brushes, they never look OVERused, you know? And the scars near his eyes (at least.. I think they're scars o.o) are very nicely done.

I like this very much so. This colour scheme is one of my favourites anyway, but texturing and piercings are just wAAAAAAAA X3!!! The shape you put around his eye is so lovely, as well as the spine (?) near his neck. Well done
