Here's Azalea/Dogwood Trail Maid!

Azalea/Dogwood Trail Maids are very important to South Alabama. They are chosen high school seniors to serve as official ambassadors for their cities (Azalea for Mobile, AL and Dogwood for Eastern Shore area *where I was born and raised in). I knew some of my high school classmates who were part of Trail Court years ago.
They are symbols of Southern hospitality and tradition. They also representing as the Azalea flowers because of their dresses.

Oh my gosh. JELLYFISH! She's beautiful! I was born in Opelika and lived in Mobile for a few years before we moved to California. I would have liked to know more about my birth town and places in Alabama.

I moved when I was about 4, so I don't remember much about Alabama, unfortunately! My dad talks about Dauphin Island a lot, though!
